As you said, it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. It takes time, effort, and dedication. I wanted to back-track to one of the things you slightly touched on… MLM, you mentioned it as a potential way to make money, while I agree that it has the potential to do that, I don’t think very highly of the model itself. It is often praised as some type of get-moving-quick whereas I have seen people who believe it and are sucked into it without knowing that in order to be successful in it, you need to really dedicate a large portion of your time to it. If you wouldn’t mind, I would like to know your exact opinion on the subject because I want to give my friends who are in it more feedback on it. I definitely don’t like the model itself but I want to see the opinion from someone who has a lot more knowledge than I do. If you have an article on it, would you mind linking me to it, please?

There is a lot to work on, and it takes 3-6 months before you see any money, but work long enough and hard enough, and you will get there. In the past, I’ve heard drop shippers and online marketers say that the problem with affiliate marketing was that you don’t build a customer base. If you lead a customer to a product, they may buy that one product, but you don’t gain commissions from future sales off it. And most of the time, that is true.
However, what they are missing is that you are building a reputation as an authority in that niche. Those people will come back and ask for your opinion on other products, if you have been honest with them all along. In that way, you are building your own customer base.

I am a great fan of affiliate marketing as I think it is one of the best means of earning a profit online. I continue to be surprised that affiliate marketing has been around for so long and I never heard about it until 2 years ago. When I started my online business, I thought I would have to be caught up in buying and selling physical stuff. I am just starting on my affiliate marketing journey. Although I’m just starting out, I agree with you that affiliate marketing is the easiest way to start an online business. Yet, I can’t call the process as an easy peasy specially if you’re newbie with zero experience, but with the proper training, support and all out effort, one can be successful in affiliate marketing.
Because of this, it is important to start with a well established platform and a mentor who will care, assist, and help his/her referrals.

I am a huge fan of affiliate marketing and although I might not agree that it is the easiest online business out there but it is something that can be very lucrative for anyone that decides to invest their time into it. It is a business that can bring you income for a long time after doing the job for a few years. I am not to lie because it is going to be a tough job and only those really interested in pursuing this type of life should even attempt trying to go into affiliate marketing.
Nice and sweet. You did not go overboard with trying to sell anyone and was confident in your mentoring them along the way. You gave them plenty of options to signup and did not seem to pressure them. Your experience sold this post with providing the evidence/proof of your success, which many want when joining any business. They want to feel assured that that can do it to.

What a refreshing change from all the phony, rabid marketers out there making 500 grand a month, and then wanting to sell me a phony online course for only 7000 bucks. The more I research Wealthy Affiliate, the more appealing it looks.

I wish I would have started that soon. I have dabbled in affiliate marketing but I haven’t ever stuck with it. Advertisements and warnings alike about affiliate marketing are everywhere online.

Affiliate Marketing is the best way to make money online, also you can stay home and being flexible on timing, no direct sales, no bothering friends and family. I love the part being at home, and don’t need to direct sale. Because I found that, if you start to sell something to someone unknown in the very beginning on your conversation, people think that it’s really annoying and they will ignore it. So imagine how have people done their sales on those old school day, it’s way more harder than nowadays. So glad that we have internet and computer to help us, and make it more easier.
Oh and one more good thing on Affiliate Marketing, is I don’t need to face to boss, and I have no boss, so that no one can ever boss me around anymore (lol).
Having been involved in affiliate marketing for 4 years now I can say hands down it is the best and most enjoyable way to make money online. There is no selling involved, so there is no pressure to meet targets, and you get to choose whenever and from wherever you want to work.

It’s been around eight months since I started this journey with affiliate marketing – to which I had no idea what it was not how it worked but I’m glad I decided to try it out myself and expand my knowledge in something that can later on change my life and actually become my full-time job. It’s mind-blowing to look back at certain keywords I’ve used in the past to search for a specific topic and when I clicked on a website and bought through their links they would be making a small income trade-in. If I would’ve known this was a thing back a couple years ago I think I would’ve been in a better place right now.

I agree with you affiliate marketing is the best way for a beginner to test the waters of conducting their own internet business. But because there are so many other people doing the same thing, it takes Google and other search engines a while to recognize your website as an authority within your niche. The best advise to newbies is to keep at it because a trusted website isn’t built overnight.

The best thing about Wealthy Affiliate is that it not like an automated digital library with a lot of content, it’s about people. The lack of any actual contact with the products makes logistics a breeze compared to dropshipping or selling your own products. Affiliate marketing is the best way to earn a passive income online. Your description of the variables are spot on and personally to me the important things is that I do not have the direct sales to worry about or having to set up sales meetings. To have a mentor in any business is beneficial, and even more so when one is working from home, so great to know that you are available.

All you need is your computer, an internet connection and the will to put in the needed work. Do not be deceived into thinking that the income will come withour effort.
This is a fantastic entry to affiliate marketing and to Wealthy Affiliate. I have been in a few different cycles like direct marketing, MLM and now affiliate marketing. I did ok in the direct marketing and the MLM but the problem was I wasnt enjoying myself.
